Car Accident and the Silver Lining
January 3rd, 2003 by Roderick RussellFor those of you who haven’t heard, I was involved in a car accident on December 27th while travelling to the New York area. I suffered a fairly severe blow to the head, which naturally got me quite worried, as much of what I do depends upon my brain being in tip-top shape! Worried about my recall, I decided to test it by memorizing as quickly as possible a list of 100 words and recalling them in any order asked for. I’m pleased to report that it was no trouble at all, and in fact, due to the success of it, I’ve decided to include this feat in my show. I’ll now be featuring a routine that has me memorizing and recalling in any order asked for a series of 100 (maybe more) words as given to me by the audience. You see, there’s a happy ending to every story!
Regarding my physical well-being… The doctor says that, given time, I’ll recover just fine, so no worries! Thank you for all your support during this time!
