Discovery Channel Filming
September 6th, 2004 by Roderick RussellI worked last week with an Australian production company to film a documentary for a Discovery Channel special to be aired in 2005.
The theme is centered around the swallowing of unusual objects, and I was featured for unusual sword swallowing ability.
I underwent a number of medical procedures, including endoscopy (swallowing a camera) and fluoroscopy (video xray) while swallowing a sword.
The procedures and the filming where very exciting, and I can’t say enough good things about the crew. They were superb!
I will post more details regarding the documentary as the air date approaches.
