Improvisation at Fairleigh Dickinson University
May 4th, 2004 by Roderick RussellHere’s a quick hello and thanks to the students and faculty at Fairleigh Dickinson University who made my visit and performance there last night so very enjoyable and interesting.
I was invited to give an intimate lecture and performance in the evening and it turned out to be a very comfortable, relaxed but still characteristically bizarre evening. I improvised with a fair amount of psychological manipulations and accomplished the goal of not only entertaining but also of educating and effectively freaking out the students, which they seemed to enjoy immensely.
I hope that you all have some new ideas to think about artistically and that you keep pushing forward with your inquisitive attitudes. You’re a great group!
