Manchester Memorial - 1500 Strong!
April 21st, 2004 by Roderick RussellA bit earlier in the day than I’m used to, but the show today at Manchester Memorial High School was fantastic! We had a huge crowd of 1500 people completely filling the auditorium and an enormously high energy level! I’ve never heard such a buzz from a crowd!
Despite some microphone issues due to an unshielded video camera cable, the show was an enormous success, and my thanks go out to all those that made it possible; Brent, Jim, Judy and everyone that helped to setup the show and run all the technical aspects.
I gambled the usual $100 at the beginning of the show, and even put my fee on the line at the end of the show. Thankfully I was able to walk away with both in hand, but not without some nervous sweating on my part. Brent especially made me work for my money, trying to send me psychological curve balls.
Overall, a great show. And my apologies to the senior class, who didn’t get to participate as much as they had hoped.
